Slogan for a King

Slogans can stick in your mind and give companies instant recognition when heard or read. I was driving the other day behind an SVU that had the Allstate Insurance Company’s promise slapped on the back of it.

I immediately thought of Jesus and how He is the only Good Hands to be in. This world offers many empty promises and if we’re not putting our trust in Jesus, we will chase any slogan of emptiness thrown our way because our hearts we’re designed to be filled. We will be filled by something or someone because we desire to be full.

I googled company slogans and here are some of what I found:

AMC Theatres: “Experience the Difference”

Abbott Laboratories: “A Promise for Life”

Bowers & Wilkins (Speaker Mfg.): “Listen and You Will See”

CVS Pharmacy: “Expect Something Extra”

Globe Telecom: “Making great things possible”

Kohl’s: “Expect Great Things”

L’Oreal: “Because I’m Worth It”

Pier 1 Imports: “Life More Interesting”

Porsche: “There Is No Substitute”

Weight Watchers: “Watch Yourself Change”

All of these company slogans cannot describe each other, but every one of them can describe a life that seeks Jesus.

If I had to come up with a slogan to encourage others to seek Jesus it would be:

“No matter where you’ve been, He’ll take you in”

Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek Me and find Me when you see Me with all your heart.

Blessings,
